The Water

Although there is no water rights included with the property, there is a year round stream feeding several ponds, and numerous year round springs. The ponds are filled with Brooke Trout and numerous animals use them as watering holes. Most of the trout are only about 8-10" long. However, trout as big as 14" have been caught in these ponds. Since the ponds are not fished often, the fish are caught easily.

Several water shares are available for sell between $5,000-10,000 depending on the type and location.  Recently a land owner was able to buy two shares of South Kamas water company for $11,000. This information is offered as a courtesy and all buyers must verify all information.

If desiring to build, you would have to purchase sufficient shares and transfer them to the property. Then get approval to develop a spring or drill a well.
